Mechanical Organ Owners Society
Annual General Meeting

The AGM of 'The UK's Friendliest Organ Society'

Bringing our membership together for a day of great music

What is a MOOS AGM?

Our Annual General Meeting is one big social gathering...
Every year, we aim to achieve big things and we encourage our membership to bring thoughts on how to move the society forward to the next level. Also the meeting length is kept to the minimum, as we understand these AGM's are more of a social gathering. Therefore plenty of time for food, drink and organ music!

2021 AGM

Finally! After all the event cancelations because of Covid-19, here is a date you can get in the diary.

The 2021 MOOS AGM will be at The Scarborough Fair Collection on Saturday 20 March.

We are also hoping to organise some sort of 'MOOS Meet' in the Autumn/ Winter when safe to do so.

AGM Memories

In 2019, the AGM was in Suffolk visiting Jonathan Ling and The Grange Collection. On Sunday we enjoyed a trip to Thursford Founders Day.
In 2018, the AGM went to Cornwall to the Ian Rogers Collection. We also visited collector Robert Hough in Devon, Peter Phillips, the custodian of the Anderton and Rowland Grand Organ, and Dingles Fairground Heritage.
In 2017, the AGM visited a hidden gem in Spilsby. The collection belongs to MOOS Member David O Connor. We couldn't believe the variety of organs and other mechanical music instruments.
The 2016 AGM visited the collection of Russell Cook, Shropshire. Nearly everyone saw and heard instruments which were 'new to the ears' and it was great to enjoy a sandwich and a natter in the sunshine! Thank you Russell and family.
The 2015 AGM went to the St Albans Organ Theatre, with their superb collection of Dance Organs in this wonderful nostalgic setting.
